Letos Ferrari praznuje 60letnico.

Zgodovina:
1940s 1947 was the year in which a Ferrari car first triumphed in competition. The car in question was the 125 S and was driven by Franco Cortese in the GP of Rome. The race was disputed on the city circuit situated at the Terme di Caracalla. A year later came the first Prancing Horse barchetta, the celebrated 166 MM. The vehicle triumphed a year later, 1949, in the 24 Hour of Le Mans in what was the first in a long series of Ferrari wins.
1947 - The First Victory The 125 S - the S standing for Sport - was the first car that was completely planned and built by the Scuderia Ferrari, which in that period was situated in Via Trento e Trieste in Modena. 1950's The 50s marked the start of Ferrari's adventure in the newly created Formula 1 championship. Ferrari, it should be remembered, has always appeared in every race (the only team in the world to have done so). These were the years in which Alberto Ascari claimed his first unforgettable world title. Also starring were Fangio and Hawthorn. This was perhaps the decade of the great road races, events in which Ferrari and its Sport vehicles claimed victories in the Mille Miglia and the famous Carrera Panamericana.

1960's As well as the triumphs in Formula 1, in which Hill and Surtees took world titles at the start of the decade, the Prancing Horse also fared well in the Mondo Sport series. The championship includes highlights like the one-two-three finish in the 24 Hour of Daytona and the Bandini-Vaccarella crew claiming the final Targa Florio. Legendary Gran Turismo models were produced in this era, among them the GTO - winner of three consecutive International GT Constructors' titles.

1970's The 1970s was an important decade as it marked the appearance of the first 12 cylinder, rear-engined roadgoing car. The model in question was the 365 GT4 BB. This was followed a few years later by another famous berlinetta designed by Pininfarina: the 512 BB. This vehicles was also powered by a V12, this time featuring opposed cylinders. Lauda was in his prime in Formula 1 as he secured two world titles. His title efforts were backed up by his team mate, Regazzoni, and the current president of Ferrari, Luca di Montezemolo, as Sporting Director. Of course one cannot leave out the excellent pairing made up of Schekter-Villeneuve.

1980's Ferrari's fortunes fluctuated in this decade. Gilles Villeneuve was widely deemed to be worthy of his status as one of the best Formula 1 drivers before he was sadly killed just as he appeared set to be crowned champion. The eighties will especially be recalled for the passing of its founder. At ninety years of age Enzo Ferrari still maintained the reins of the company. His death left a profound sense of emptiness, the depth of which was felt throughout the automobile world.

1990's The shadow of Ferrari's death resulted in a tough start to this decade for the Prancing Horse. This downward trend was halted with the return of Luca di Montezemolo as president. After many lean years, the nineties saw the Formula 1 world Constructors' title come back to Maranello thanks to the Schumacher-Todt team. The production was able to benefit from new technologies introduced by the management. This brought very successful models such as the 550 Maranello and the F50 supercar.

Along the way they demonstrated a level of technical supremacy never before seen in Formula 1. These sporting triumphs were backed up by commercial successes like the 360 Modena and the F430. Other more exclusive creations included the Enzo Ferrari and the recent 599 GTB Fiorano.
